- Contact form data: name, email address, phone number if provided, event type and message.
- Cookie consent preferences: choices made through the consent banner.
- Analytics and advertising data: only when the relevant tools are enabled and within the scope of the user’s consent choices.
3. Purposes and legal bases
- Responding to enquiries and quotation requests: steps taken at the data subject’s request prior to entering into a contract and, for general enquiries, legitimate interest in managing incoming communications.
- Website operation, security and abuse prevention: legitimate interests and, where applicable, compliance with legal obligations.
- Legal, administrative and tax obligations: compliance with legal obligations.
- Website analytics: consent where non-essential measurement technologies are used.
- Campaign measurement, remarketing and advertising personalisation: consent where such tools are enabled.
4. Contact form
Information submitted through the Contact form is used to read and manage the request and to contact the user. The website sends this information to the company’s email inbox; the NIKKY theme does not independently create a public archive of submitted messages and does not publish the data entered.
5. Cookies and consent preferences
The website uses technical cookies necessary for its operation and may, subject to consent, use cookies or similar technologies for analytics and marketing purposes. Consent preferences are managed through Complianz. Non-essential categories remain disabled until the user makes a choice according to the banner configuration.
The current list of cookies, detected services, purposes and retention periods is available in the Cookie Policy. Users can change their choices at any time through the website’s cookie preference controls.
6. Google Tag Manager, Analytics and advertising tools
The website is configured to manage measurement tags through Google Tag Manager. When services such as Google Analytics or Google Ads are enabled, their operation is subject to the choices made through the consent banner for Analytics and/or Marketing categories.
These services may process device, browsing, interaction and conversion information. We do not use the contact form to send the free-text content of messages to Google and we do not intend to intentionally transmit directly identifying personal data within measurement tags.
7. Recipients
Data may be processed, within their respective roles, by providers of hosting, email, IT maintenance and security, consent management, analytics and digital advertising services, as well as advisers or public authorities where required by law. Depending on the circumstances, such parties may act as processors or independent controllers.
8. Transfers outside the EEA
Some technology providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where this occurs, transfers are carried out in accordance with the GDPR using adequacy decisions, the Data Privacy Framework where applicable, Standard Contractual Clauses or other safeguards recognised by law.
9. Retention
- Contact requests: for the time necessary to handle the request and, where no subsequent relationship is established, normally no longer than 24 months after the last communication, unless longer retention is needed to protect legal rights or comply with legal obligations.
- Contractual/administrative data: for the periods required by applicable law.
- Technical/security logs: for the period necessary for security purposes and according to the settings of technical providers.
- Cookies and analytics/marketing tools: according to the periods stated in the Cookie Policy and the settings of each service.
10. Required and optional data
Required contact-form fields are necessary for NIKKY to respond. Consent to analytics or marketing cookies is optional; refusing consent does not prevent normal use of the essential parts of the website.
11. Your rights
Where provided by Regulation (EU) 2016/679, data subjects may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, object to processing and withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.
Requests can be sent to info@nikkysrl.it. Data subjects also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali).
12. External websites and social links
The website may contain ordinary links to external websites or social profiles, such as Instagram. Opening those links takes the user to third-party services governed by their own privacy notices. An ordinary external link does not itself amount to embedding a social widget or pixel on the NIKKY website.
13. Changes to this Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated when the website, the services used or applicable law changes. The date of the latest update is shown at the top of this page.
